The Google Startup school will cover instructional modules on startup subjects. They include modules like deep dives on product user value, shaping an effective product strategy, road mapping & PRD development, driving user acquisition, and building apps for Next Billion Users in markets like India. Besides Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, Google points out the startup ecosystem in cities like Indore, Jaipur, and Gorakhpur. These places are gaining momentum and almost 50% of recognized startup accounts are in the country.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Sequoia India and Southeast Asia, Gayatri Yadav said, “Google Startup School is an excellent initiative for India to reach founders. As many young, tech-savvy founders start to build their businesses, so it’s important to thought out the fundamentals of company-building. So that, founders can build for the long-term.”
Google Startup school India program is aimed at early-stage founders with a minimum lasting product. Even the attendees can choose the modules, they want to attend. In the announcement post, the company says the founders may get opportunities to make an effective founder, formalize hiring, and so on.
